Russell M. Depatie, 92, of Andover, husband of the late Katharine "Kay" (Dickinson) Depatie, died Sunday January 10, 2021 at Fox Hill Center in Vernon.  He was born in Middletown, son of Alfred and Eunice (Scranton) Depatie. Prior to to his retirement, Russell was employed as a furnace technician with Peterson Oil.  He also owned the Depatie Christmas Tree Farm in Portland.

Russell is survived by his children, Catherine Raiken of South Windsor, Douglas Sweeney of Newington, Karen Duntz of Canton, Robin Messenger of Hebron, Steven Sweeney of Mansfield Center, and Scott Sweeney of Florida; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Katharine, son, Alfred, and brother, Walter, and grandson, Jeremy.

Due to Covid-19, funeral services and burial at St. John's Cemetery, Middletown are private.  There are no calling hours.
