Rachel Ouellette, 83, of Southington, died Tuesday January 1, 2019 at Jerome Home in New Britain. She was born in St. Agatha, ME, daughter of Joseph and Annie (Gagnon) Ouellette.  Rachel was a LPN with New Britain General Hospital and later Plainville Health Care.

Rachel is survived by her siblings, Normande Collin of New Britain, Lucien (Claira) Ouellette of Madawaska, ME, Cecile (Roland) Morin of St. David, ME, Claudette (Leo) Sirois of Higganum, CT, Evelyn (Roland) Michaud of Nashua, NH, Paul (Cleo) Ouellette of Fort Kent, ME, and Roland Ouellette of RI; sisters-in-law, Stella Ouellette of Frenchville, ME and Janet Ouellette of New Britain; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Normand, Maurice, Arthur, Oneil and Claude Ouellette, and Clifford Martin; and sisters,  Yvette Beaulieu, Bernadette Bell, and Lucille Martin.

Rachel's family is grateful to the caring staff at the Jerome Home for their compassionate care.

Memorial mass will be held on Saturday (January 12 ^th ) at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Church, Higganum and in Maine at a later date.   Burial in St. Agatha Cemetery, St. Agatha, ME will be at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to charity of the donor's choice.
