Victoria Skinski Harlow, 78, of Haddam, beloved wife of the late Robert Harlow Sr. died peacefully Friday April 18, 2025, at Middlesex Hospital.  Victoria was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Bonewicz) Skinski and lived her entire life in Haddam.

Prior to her retirement, Victoria worked as the Children's Librarian and then the Library Director at the Brainerd Library in Haddam, CT. She went on to join the staff at New England Publishing Associates as an editor and photojournalist where she worked for 28 years and made several lifelong friends. Vicki loved the literary world and could often be found listening to a favorite mystery book.

Visits with her four grandchildren included making soup, putting on a favorite show, and riding toy cars around the yard. She especially enjoyed days spent by the pool with friends and family and loved to travel with her husband to St. Martin and the Bahamas, which were their two favorite casinos (oops! I mean destinations).

A lover of animals, there was nothing she enjoyed more than cuddling her rescue cats, Spencer, Dewey and Mika. In addition, she always made sure that stray cats, raccoons, birds and squirrels would find a snack at her home.

Vicki is survived by a brother Walter Skinski of Middletown, a brother-in-law Lloyd Harlow of Higganum, her two sons, Robert Harlow, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Higganum, and William Harlow and his wife Jamie of Portland, plus four grandchildren, Alexandre, Villette, Blake, and Ally.  Funeral services are private.
