Timothy Patrick Connelly Sr., 61, of Middletown, CT passed away on Friday December 13th, 2024, surrounded by his family.  He fought Glioblastoma for 21 months. He had a positive attitude and always had hope.

Tim was born in Middletown to the late John and Josephine (Otfinoski) Connelly.  He grew up in Rockfall, CT. He worked as a copy editor/proofreader, and then worked for many years at Napa Auto Parts in the will call department.  Tim loved music, poems and words.  He enjoyed playing basketball and darts with his two sons.  He was a great dad, and he loved his family more than anything.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife Kathryn (Wrinn) Connelly of 25 years, his children Cal Sheridan and Timothy Patrick Jr., his brothers John Connelly of Middletown, Robert Connelly of Middletown and his sister Kathleen Stula of Durham. He is predeceased by his Parents, John and Josephine Connelly and his sister Mary Ann (Connelly) Doherty.

Tim's family would like to thank the Neuro oncology team at The Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute. They were compassionate and wonderful, and he had the best of care.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday December 21st at 11 am at St. Johns Church in Middletown, a wake will be held the night before on Friday the 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
