Thomas P.  Slomkowski, 76, of Chaplin, died Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Curtis Home in Meriden.

Prior to his retirement, Thomas was employed as a foreman for the Algonquin Natural Gas Company.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Air Force.

Thomas is survived by two daughters, Lauryn Conroy and her husband Ben of Cromwell and Julie Moriarty and her husband Seann of Hudson, MA, a sister Theresa Manning of South Dartmouth, MA, two grandsons, and many good friends.  He loved cars, music, and Friday nights at Goober's Garage.

Funeral services with be held Thursday (May 1st) at 12 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown.  Friends may call prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial with military honors will be held at the Connecticut State Veterans' Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, following the service.  Memorial Contributions may be sent to The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, https://www.cdceportal.va.gov/donate_online/ .  To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
