Theresa Ann (Negrelli) Francis, 84, of Middletown, formerly of Higganum, longtime beloved partner of the late Gasper Jansky, died Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Middlesex Hospital.

Theresa was born in Middletown, daughter of the late, Amedeo A. Negrelli, Sr., and Amelia Marie (Copes) Negrelli. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for over 40 years at Bob's Store in Middletown.

Theresa is survived by a daughter, Deborah Fugedi and her husband Louis of Higganum, three sons, Howard Francis of East Haddam, Paul Francis of Cheshire, Matthew Francis and his wife Sheryl of Middletown, three sisters, Mary Jane Woxland of Westbrook, Amelia Anderson of Plainville, Gloria Casagrande of Higganum.  She also leaves behind a legacy of six grandchildren who lovingly called her Gram-Gram, Miranda Fugedi, Danielle Fugedi, Jacob Francis, Joshua Francis, Wayne Francis, Jr., and Joseph Francis, and two great grandchildren, Colton and Isabella.   She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Francis Sr. a sister, Lillian Henderson, and a brother Amedeo Negrelli, Jr.
