Theodore "Ted" Myron Moskey born in Middletown, CT on May 11, 1935, was reunited with the love of his life, Beverly, on August 25, 2022, surrounded by his children and family.

Ted was a carpenter by trade and was called upon by many to help with projects throughout his lifetime.  Ted was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard in 1957 and spent many weekends between 1959-1963 at the Middletown Armory to continue his service.  He retired from Pratt  and Whitney aircraft after 34 years working in the foundry and retired as shop foreman in inspection.   Ted "most naturally " jumped right back into work by spending his time with the Polish community and serving as the Permittee of the Polish National Home for many years.  He was a member of the Polish Falcons. St. Kazimierz Society, Catholic War Veterans as well as a lifetime member of the Elks 771 in Middletown.  He was a diehard Red Sox fan and spent many of his days organizing sports pools for every single sport. UConn women's basketball was his greatest obsession and considered Tom Brady one of his kids!  He read the newspaper daily and often joked he did not see his name in the obituary section.  Well, Dad, here it is –we hope we have made you proud.

Ted was predeceased by his wife and dancing partner of 62 years, Beverly (Butler) Moskey,  brother Edward Moskey, sisters Genevieve (Moskey) Zywocinski and Regina (Moskey) Kosiba.

Ted leaves behind his loving and devoted family, brother, Frank Moskey, and sister Betty Tollefson.  His children Ted and Darlene Moskey, Lori and Francois Dumas, Lisa Moskey, Georgiann Moskey Marino and Jack Herczakowski. Ted was the most proud and happiest when he spent time with his 8 grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Jessica Moskey,  Adam and Samantha Moskey, Nicholas Moskey and Niki Garceau, Stephen Dumas and Allison Hendrix, Timothy and Tresona Dumas, Rachel (Dumas) and Nye Justice, Shaun Marino and Cameron Moskey.  His 14 great grandchildren, Luke and Maya Moskey, Henry Dumas, Jade and Leo Dumas, Zoe, Valor, Kylie, Brynlee and Libby Justice, Brady and Bella Moskey and Tensley and Hartley Moskey were very fortunate to have had the honor to have met him.

Prior to his passing, Ted was presented the honor of Polish Honorary from the Middletown Elks Lodge for his efforts and contribution to the Polish community over the years.   The celebration in his honor will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Elks Lodge Middletown facility.

Please join Ted's family at Biega Funeral Home on Monday, August 29, 2022, between 4 and 7 p.m. to honor his life.  Graveside services, where we will reunite our mother and father and lay them to rest together again, will be held at Middlefield Cemetery on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11 a.m.
