Sylvia A. Kirby, 92, of Middletown, died Friday June 13, 2025 at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Northford, the daughter of the late Herbert and Lillia (Wolfe) Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Debby Kirby of Durham; sons, Gary Kirby (Denise) of Meriden and Dale Kirby (Janice) of Wallingford; two grandsons Jeffrey (Tammy) of North Carolina and Scott (Danielle) of Marlborough; and her peanut Shania of Meriden.   Three great grandchildren Shawn and Christopher of Maine, and Morgan Leigh of North Carolina.  Sylvia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as many family friends.  She was predeceased by her son, Neil Kirby; and sisters, Dorothy Pogmore, Lillian Cook and Shirley Bastura.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday (June 21st) at 10:30 a.m. in Northford Cemetery, Spruce St., Northford.  Sylvia's family has requested casual dress for the graveside services.
