Stanley J. Baldyga, Jr., 84, of Middletown, husband of the late Patricia (Cunningham) Baldyga, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 11, 2025.

He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Stanley J. Baldyga, Sr. and Josephine (Radziwon) Baldyga.  Stanley served with the US Air Force and then became a firefighter with the City of Middletown for over 25 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Harris and her husband Donald of Middletown; son, Philip Baldyga of New Haven; two grandchildren, Danielle Hinman and her husband Matthew, and Jason Chowaniec and his fiancée Leah DiGoia; also several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother, Walter Baldyga and sister, Caroline Perez.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (May 2nd) at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown.  Burial will be at the convenience of his family in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Meriden.  Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
