Sheila Riccio, 85, of Middletown, wife of the late James Riccio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Apple Rehab. Center Middletown, surrounded by the comforting presence of her cousin Paula Giemza.

Born and raised in Middletown, Sheila was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her gentle spirit and generous nature.

Sheila is survived by several cherished cousins and is also remembered fondly by her two nieces and a nephew.

The family will be receiving friends at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Friday, May 17, 2024.  Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM at the State Veterans' Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, where Sheila will be laid to rest.

Sheila's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace.
