Sharon "Mema" Slossberg, 76, of Middletown, wife of the late Stephen L. Slossberg, passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Albert and Alyce (Rechtschafer) Waxman.  Sharon was a switchboard operator and later an administrative clerk at UConn Medical Center.  She was an active member of Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue in Middletown.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Chad Slossberg and his wife Bree of Middletown, Ari Slossberg and his wife Christine of East Hampton; daughter, Ilene Slossberg of Kentucky; sister, Merle Loza and her husband David of Cromwell; fourteen grandchildren, Devon, Corissa, Carly, Jaden, Devin, Allie, Alex, Carter, Stefan (Mikaela), Shane, Morgan (Brandon), Kathleen, Shana, Beth; great grandchildren, Kruz, Caleb and Beckam; niece, Star; great niece and nephew, Skye and Ayden. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen and sister, Lynn Bennett.

Sharon's family would like to thank Middlesex Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.
