Shaheen Napuaokalani Maxwell, 52, of Middletown, died Tuesday February 3, 2026. She was born in Honolulu, HI, daughter of Ralph Earl Maxwell and the late Muriel Mililani Maxwell (Apo).

Shaheen is survived by her daughter, Remmi of Middletown, her longtime partner, Bernie Foelske of Middletown, and by numerous close friends and family.

Shaheen was a devoted mother and friend. All who knew her were touched by the joy and comfort she so freely gave. She loved her family and friends endlessly and will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday Feb 11th from 3 to 5 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. A Celebration of Life to follow at Rover's Lodge in Middlefield, CT.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to ʻĀina Momona in Shaheen's memory.
