Ruth (Clark) Rich, 92, of Middletown, wife of the late Robert A. Rich, Sr., died Monday April 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born in Middletown, the daughter of the late Cleveland and Jane (Janes) Clark.

Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Mergel of Portland, Cheryl Sloan of Middletown, and Marion Imbruglio of Portland; son, Robert Rich, Jr. of Cromwell; along with 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sisters, Lillian Goulet, Ethel Weber, Mabel Knick, Marylou Bombaci, Thelma Flanagan, and Ann Goff; brothers, James and Harold Clark.

Funeral services will be held Saturday (April 18th) at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
