Rosemary Ann (Fazzino) Wilkins, 68, of Middletown, CT, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday August 19th, after a long illness.

Born June 15, 1956, in Middletown, the only daughter of three children to the late Luigi Fazzino and Giuseppina (Dimauro) Fazzino.  Rosemary was a graduate of Mercy High School ('74).  Prior to her retirement she was employed with Middlesex Hospital for 25 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Gary, her two children Nicole  Mignault and her husband Patrick of Wake Forest, NC,  James Wilkins and his wife Angela of West Suffield, CT and four grandchildren, Nora, Garrett (Mignault), Grayson, and Easton (Wilkins), her brother Salvatore Fazzino of Wallingford, CT, Mother-in-law Mary Jane Wilkins of Middletown, CT, She will be greatly missed by her dear sisters-in-law Deborah Pullman, Danette Marino, Michele Palmieri and Jean Fazzino as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rose was known for her dedication to her kids, family and friends.  She loved crafting, sewing and her flower garden.  She will be remembered for her tenacious spirit when faced with insurmountable odds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Anthony Fazzino, father-in-law Silas Wilkins, and sister-in-law Lisa Fazzino.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday August 27th, at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver St. Middletown with a burial following at St. Sebastian Cemetery Rockfall. Calling hours will be held on Monday August 26th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to Yale New Haven Health- Smilow Cancer Hospital, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
