Rose (Erickson) Young, 93, formerly of Middletown, wife of the late John Young, died Wednesday June 29, 2022 at Hartford Hospital.

She was born in Roskilde, Denmark, the daughter of the late Frank G. and Kristine (Jensen) Erickson.  Rose was employed at SNET and later Connecticut Bank and Trust.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Patricia Krupa and her husband Stanley of Mineola, KS, and Mary Jane Tosto and her husband Ralph of Cromwell; two sisters, Gladys Morgan of Haddam, and Ruth Hubbard of Cromwell; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Young.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday (July 2 ^nd ) at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Church, Cromwell. Burial will be in Pine Grover Cemetery, Middletown.  Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.  Those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
