Rosario J. "Sari" Sarcia, 93, of Rockfall, beloved husband of Tina (Tata) Sarcia, passed away on Sunday October 19, 2025, at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Middletown, son of the late Salvatore and Marie (Ripa) Sarcia. Rosario was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a plumber at Pratt & Whitney. He was a life member of the Middletown Elks, and a regular at Set-back night.

Rosario is survived by his wife Tina, five daughters, Marijane Goetz and her husband John of Middletown, Jacqueline Airo and her husband Riccardo of Middletown, Jill Sarcia of Middlefield, Leslie Delaney and her husband Kevin of Glastonbury, Nancy Sarcia of Washington D.C., grandchildren, Sasha Michnevitz, Lexie Santangelo, Aidan Sarcia-Grano, Anthony Santangelo, Katarina Delaney, Nadia Delaney, Avianna Airo, Angelo Airo, Cash Rosario Bugbee, and great grandchildren Violetta and Antonino Pizzonia.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday October 24th at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm St. Middletown. Burial with military honors will be held at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
