Rosa Shefcyk, 85, of Middletown, wife of the late Robert Shefcyk, Sr., passed away on Tuesday September 16, 2025. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Angelo R. and Vincenza (Giuffrida) Ciccarello. Rosa was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High school. She later went on to be a Department Manager at Bradlees until retirement.

Rosa is survived by her son Angelo Hawley, brother Vincent Ciccarello of CA, sister Theressa Ciccarello of FL; nephews Allan Miller of Middlefield, Daniel Ciccarello of CA, niece Cara Ciccarello of CA, grandson Devin Alger of Middletown CT, and great grandson Aiden McIntyre of Terryville CT.

Rose enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, puzzles, and most, being with and around her family.

Funeral service will be held on Friday October 3rd at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral home 3 Silver St, Middletown, a wake will be held prior from 10 to 11 a.m. for friends to extend sympathies.
