Ronald J. Gresl, 79, of Higganum, beloved husband of Denise (Zlotowski) Gresl, died Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, Ronald was the son of Joseph and Lucille (Cyranowicz) Gresl. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a product definition and checker at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of East Hartford for 43 years. He was a proud member of the Charter Oak Team at Metropolitan Shooters in Manchester and of Ye Olde Lebanon Towne Militia, reenactors of the Revolutionary War. An avid fly fisherman and photographer, Ron found great joy in nature and the time he spent outdoors.

Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown, on Sunday, October 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 12, at 10:30 a.m., with friends invited to gather beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
