Ronald S. Anton, much-loved husband, father and grandfather passed away at home on March 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Born in Meriden, Connecticut, Ron was the eldest son of the late Stanley and Adeline Zawisza Anton. He is predeceased by his wife, Diane Clark Anton, his brother Robert Anton and his brother Kenneth Anton. Ron leaves behind his two daughters, Vicky Hertler, and husband Bill, Nancy LaPointe, and husband Darryl. He also leaves behind his two grandsons, who he loved spending time with, Ryan Hertler and Connor Hertler. Ron also leaves behind a nephew, several nieces and family.
Ron was employed as a Material's Manager for over 40 years which include Cuonos, A.E.G. Power Tools, Lightolier and Doncaster's. He was a die-hard Yankee fan and loved the UCONN Huskies women's basketball.
We would like to thank Hartford Hospice Care and especially to his nurses Susan and Melanie. A special heartfelt thank you to our dad's caregiver, Godfred, who cared for him each and every day until his passing.
