Richard J. Zisk, 77 of Berlin, passed into eternal life on June 20, 2023, at his home.  Richard was born in New Britain, son of the late, Joseph and Rose (Sokolowski) Zisk.

Richard was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era serving with the U.S. Army.  He attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and E.C. Goodwin Technical High School in New Britain, graduating in 1964 as an electrician.  He was a beloved and well-respected member of Local 90 IBEW.  He enjoyed spending time on the family's dairy farm in Middlefield; playing Setback with his uncle, John Zisk.

Richard is survived by his twin brother, Raymond Zisk of Bristol, and several cousins.  He was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Labonsky, and a nephew, Benjamin Labonosky, VI.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday, September 6th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 51 Freestone Ave., Portland.  Burial with military honors will be held at Saint Mary Cemetery.  To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
