Richard "Dick" Sidell, 68, of Moodus, died peacefully at Middlesex Hospital on Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Walter and Helen (Larsek) Sidell Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Moodus and graduated from Hale Ray High School. He was also a member of the St. Joseph's Polish Society. Prior to his retirement, Dick was employed for many years with EB Exterminating. Dick was a lover of the outdoors and wildlife.

Richard is survived by his sister, Frances Dean and her husband Robert of Hadlyme.  He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Walter "Butch" and Robert "Bubba" Sidell.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 1st at 11 a.m. at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Colchester.  Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the East Haddam Ambulance Association, P.O.
