Richard K. Samolis Sr., husband of Sheila (Millett), son of Jane Ann and Raymond Samolis Sr., passed away on Thursday, March 12th, at home surrounded by his family, and is lovingly remembered by those who knew him.

A lifelong dedicated employee of Pratt & Whitney, Richard (Rich) began working there after high school and spent his career repairing machines on the shop floor, forming many deep friendships over the years.

Richard loved spending time with loved ones and his pets, from visiting family in Florida and Vermont to riding his Motorcycles throughout the Connecticut countryside.  Richard was a dedicated employee and friend who assisted others in their time of need.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Millett) Samolis, and his son, Joseph Samolis. He was predeceased by his sons, Richard K. Samolis Jr. and Kevin D. Samolis.
