It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Richard Kevin (Casserino) Samolis Jr. on October 30, 2024 at the age of 51 years old.  Rick was born in Middletown CT and later moved to Marlborough CT. Rick worked as a licensed electrician for the IBEW local 35, Hartford CT.

He loved his family, especially his mother, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.  He leaves behind his mother Carleen Casserino-Strang and stepfather Jeff Strang.  His father Richard Samolis Sr. and wife Sheila.  His devoted brother, Joseph Samolis and wife Katherine, along with his nieces and nephews, Isabella, Landon, and Kayleigh Samolis.

Also, mourning his passing are his loving uncles and aunts, Carl and Judy Casserino and Dan and Lek Casserino; and his ex-wife Victoria Seckla. Rick is predeceased by his younger brother Kevin Daniel (Casserino) Samolis, who passed in 2016.

Rick and Kevin are now reunited in heaven and are watching over their loving family.
