Raymond L. Priest, 82, of Haddam, husband of the late, Joyce (Stone) Priest, died Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Water's Edge Center for Health.

Ray was born in Middletown, son of the late Raymond W. Priest and Anna (Lyon) Wiese.

Ray graduated from Vinal Tech as a carpenter.  He worked on the building of Haddam Killingworth High School and stayed as part of the maintenance crew for 42 years.

Ray is survived by his three sons, James of Middletown, Robert of Wallingford, and Ronald of Haddam, three sisters Patty Stone of Higganum, Brenda Laflin of Middletown, Debbie Talbot of East Haddam, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Judith Birner and grandson Jimmy.
