Raymond Foley, 79, of Middletown, formerly of Hartford, died Monday August 21, 2023 at Water's Edge Health Care Center, Middletown.

He was born in Hartford, the son of the late Edgar Foley and Barbara (Jurgensen) Virelli. Ray was a truck driver for many years and has many friends and family in the Hartford area.

He is survived by his children, Cheryl Roche-Bernier of Connecticut, Michael Foley of Massachusetts and Christopher Foley of Connecticut; brothers, Ronald Foley of Iowa; step brother, James Virelli of Iowa; step sister, Catherine Grady of Connecticut; two grandsons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter; also, several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, James Foley, sister, Grace Mangiafico.
