It is with a heavy heart that the family of Phyllis E. Woody - Stanchfield shares the news of her untimely passing on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Phyllis was born on, September 12, 1937, to the late Charles and Alice (Delaney) Kaminske, Sr. Prior to her retirement Phyllis worked in the regional laundry at Connecticut Valley Hospital.

Phyllis is survived by a daughter Pamela Woody-Austin and her fiancé, Gregory Warzecha of Middletown, a son, Michael and Suellen Woody of Chester. grandchildren Jessica, James, Katelin, Austin, Jason, Kyle Woody, great-grandchildren, Max Veseskis, Nicole, Jocelynn, James Jr. Boe, Darcie Austin, Ernie Noah, Carter Austin-Noah, a sister Janet and Charles Russell of Portland, step-grandchild, Tyler Warzecha of New Britain, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.

Phyllis enjoyed traveling to Spruce Pine NC. In her early years. She also enjoyed spending summers in Maine at Torsey Lake and traveling and seeing the world

Phyllis loved her family more than life itself, she loved spending time with family and friends at family cookouts and going on day trips, she would enjoy sitting on the back porch watching her grand and Great-grandchildren play while listening to a little country music on the radio.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 25th at 6 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown. Friends may call prior to the service from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be held Monday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery, Easthampton.
A celebration of life for Phyllis will be held at a later date, the family will post.
