Mrs. Phon Ok was born in Cambodia on February 1, 1940 and her soul peacefully left this earth on the morning of September 18, 2025.

Mrs. Ok was the wife of the late Mr. Suon Long and together they had 13 children. In November 1981, she emigrated to Chicago, Illinois and through her tireless efforts, made it possible for her 6 remaining children to also come to the US to begin their new lives away from the devastation of war. Having lived most of her life in Chicago, she moved to Middletown, Connecticut to enjoy her later years with many of her family.

Mr. Ok leaves behind 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 more on the way. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family whose lives she touched during her lifetime.
