Paul W. Linares, Jr., 77, of Middletown, husband of the Late Kathleen (Skubel) Linares, passed away on December 25, 2024, at his home with family at his side. Born and raised in Middletown, Paul was the beloved son of the late Paul Linares, Sr., and Julia (Chairo) Linares.

Paul's life was one of service, love, and devotion to his family. He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Kathleen Linares, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Together, they built a loving home and raised two sons, who survived him: Paul Linares III and his wife Michelle of East Haddam, and Michael Linares of Middletown.

Paul's legacy continues through his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy: Brian Linares, Jacob Linares, John Linares, Brooke Linares, Stephano Linares, and Nikki Linares, and the newest sparkle of his eyes, his three great-grandchildren, Luka, Amoura and Avery.  He also leaves behind his siblings: his brothers Ronald Linares and his wife Lori of Middletown, CT, and Wayne Linares; and his sister Donna Brown and her husband Jim.

Paul's warm heart, steadfast spirit, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his sacrifices for his country will never be forgotten.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown. The burial will be at State Veteran's Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, January 6th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, CT.
