Paul D. Buhl

Paul D. Buhl, 64, of Middletown, formerly of East Haddam, passed away unexpectedly at his home.  Paul was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, son of the late Paul R. Buhl and Janice Anne (Lally) Buhl.  Paul was a graduate of Notre Dame Law School. Prior to his retirement Paul practiced law at his own firm.  He served as Probate Judge in East Haddam for many years, assisting countless residents throughout his decade-long tenure.  Paul was an Eagle Scout, a Scout Leader, a member of the Knights of Columbus, President of the Rotary Club, and a civil servant.

Paul is survived by his two beloved children, Thomas Buhl of Manhattan, NY and John Buhl of Old Saybrook, CT, three sisters, Anne Klacik and her husband Gary of Washington, DC, Mary Dutta and her husband Anindya of Charlottesville, VA, Kathleen Buhl of Natick, MA.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:30 am at Saint Bridget of Kildare Church, 79 Moodus Leesvile Road, Moodus.  Burial will be held in the Saint Bridget Cemetery, North Road, Moodus.  To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
