Patricia Loretta (Claussen) "Nana" Winakor passed peacefully on Thursday morning, January 9th, 2025 after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New York City, on June 21,1942. She graduated from Nathan Hale-Ray High School with the class of 1960. She was predeceased by her brother Leslie(Linda) Claussen and is survived by her two brothers William(Linda) and Raymond(Laura) Claussen.

She is also survived by her husband, William Winakor, and her two sons David(Laura) and Steven(Vanda) Winakor. Nana was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren: Scott(Melissa), Erica(Michael) Bowen, Cheryl(Andrew) Janz, Rachael, Zachary & Jared Ingves, Matthew, Jonah(Tessa), Jacob, and Grace. She was a proud great-grandmother to Kynleigh, Maycee, and Mila.

Nana focused her time on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, welcoming them with a full jar of Oreos and made-to-order snacks. She could always be found with a word search or a jigsaw puzzle, and her favorite Bloody Mary for special occasions. Nana was a keen believer in stacking firewood, mowing her lawn, and shoveling snow in her 80s, because that's just what you do! Nana will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and the love she shared with all will never be forgotten.
