Patricia Cable Thompson, 84, of Bristol, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of July 5th, 2025. Born on March 27th, 1941, Pat was the daughter of Walter and Luella (Johnson) Cable of Harwinton, CT. Pat and her siblings were the third generation to call Harwinton home, where Pat chose to stay and raise her family as well. Pat was active in town with the zoning board and the historical society, with a special interest in protecting and preserving historical buildings. Years later, after moving to Bristol, Pat had a lively career in both real estate and human resources, working for several companies in Hartford. In retirement, Pat once again turned her eye toward antiquities and volunteered at the Bristol Historical Society for many years alongside her husband Gerald.

Pat is survived by her brother Robert W. Cable, her son and daughter-in-law, Randall W. and Margaret Root, and her daughter and son-in-law, Lorianne (Root) and Thomas Siomades; three grandchildren, Michelle Anne Root, Sunday Honor Siomades, and Alexander Beach Siomades, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her husband Gerald, her sister Catherine Richard, and her brother Rodney Cable.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at 12p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown. Friends may gather prior to the service from 10a.m. to 12p.m. Burial will be held immediately following at the State Veterans' Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown.
