Patricia B. Riccardo Patricia B. Riccardo, 84, of Middletown, formerly of Portland, wife of the late, Arthur R. Hetrick, Sr. and Robert Riccardo, died Friday, November 10th, 2023, at Aaron Manor, Chester, with family at her side.
Pat was born on February 14, 1939, in Middletown, Connecticut, daughter of the late, Vincent and Stella (Wendrychowicz) Beauchemin. Besides her husbands, Pat was predeceased by a brother John Beauchemin of Colorado.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a scheduling coordinator for Middlesex Hospital Visiting Nurses.
Pat is survived by, a son, Arthur R. Hetrick, Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen of Portland, three daughters, Suzanne Madore and her husband, Gilbert of Higganum, Maureen Fazzino and her husband, Carmelo of East Haddam, Karen Miano and her husband, Michael of Portland. A sister, Carol Gilbert and her husband, George of Portland, and many nieces and nephews. 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren – Eileen (Jason) Umba-Neuwinger and their children Siena and Landon; Frank (Andrea) Fazzino, David Fazzino, Matthew (Ashley) Hetrick and their children Levi and Ethan; Tyler (Michelle) Hetrick and their children Jameson and Kinsley; Emily (Michael) Ossa and their son Owen, Hannah, Molly (fiancé Anthony) Megan, and Morgan Madore; and Vincent and Michaela Miano.
Pat was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Church in Portland most of her life. She enjoyed traveling with her high school girlfriends, gardening, and was an avid UCONN women's basketball fan. But she loved spending time with her family most of all.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held, Monday, November 20th at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary's Church, 51 Freestone Ave. Portland. Friends may call prior to the service at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Pat's family would like to thank the staff at Aaron Manor and Middlesex Health Hospice for the care and compassion she received during her last few months.
