Patricia Ellen (Thompson) Mainetti, 81, a longtime resident of Higganum, beloved wife of Dominick Mainetti, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday February 13, 2024.  She was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Wesley Arthur and Mary Rose (Mellilo) Thompson.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Dominick; sons, Lawrence Mainetti and his wife Kelly of FL, Dominick Mainetti, Jr. and his wife Christine of Haddam, Mark Mainetti and his wife Amy of TN; daughter, Linda Petras and her husband Jeff of KY; brother, James Thompson of NH; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Thompson.

Patricia was well known for her volunteer work at both Snow School and Burr School. She also volunteered at the Portland Seventh Day Adventist Church working with the Adventurers youth program, and food pantry. She was also known for her work with arts and crafts.

Her proudest accomplishment being a mom and Noni.

Calling Hours will be held at Biega's Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown, CT Sunday, February 18, 2024, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Portland Seventh Day Adventist Church, 13 Waverly Ave, Portland, CT  06480, on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 857 South Main St, Middletown.
