Patricia K. Edwards, 92, of East Windsor, formerly of Durham, passed away on Saturday January 3, 2026.

She was born in St. Marys, PA, daughter of the late William T. and Monica (Burgess) Kronenwetter. Patricia had a passion for education, earning her bachelor's degree from Penn State University in 1956. Soon after graduation, she married her college sweetheart, Robert N. Edwards, Jr. of Altoona, PA. "Bob" was a devoted husband and father until his passing in 2000. While raising her children, Patricia returned to school and earned a master's degree in teaching. She worked for the State of Connecticut for more than 20 years as a teacher at the Cheshire Correctional Institute, helping students prepare for the GED.

Patricia enjoyed a lifelong love of Collies. She bred and owned many champions and was a member of the Collie Club of America for more than 50 years and a foster home for the Collie Rescue of New England.

Patricia is survived by her children Rachel Edwards of East Windsor, Robert "Eddie" Edwards, III and his late wife MaryBeth of Rockfall, Daryl Edwards and his wife Renee of Ranchos De Taos, NM, and Karen Jordan and her husband Gary of Dunedin, FL, and her brothers, Charles "Chuck" Kronenwetter of Maple Valley, WA, William "Ted" Kronenwetter of California, MD, as well as five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday January 13th at 12 p.m. at Mica Hill Cemetery in Durham. There are no calling hours.
