Patricia Cantwell, 82, of Middletown, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Middletown, CT. She was the cherished daughter of the late Seteman Morassini and the late Antoinette (Caplitcka) Morassini.

Patricia was a lifelong resident of Middletown.  Prior to her retirement, Patricia worked for many years at Raymond Engineering, a Kaman company, where she was a loyal employee and friend to many coworkers.

Patricia is survived by her loving daughter, Angelene Cantwell of Ames, IA, and her three sons, Patrick Cantwell of Middletown, CT, Ernest Cantwell of Cromwell, CT, and Michael Cantwell, Jr of El Cajon, CA. Her grandchildren include Desireé Lanczki, Michael Cantwell, III, Amanda Toler, and Étienne Dubé.  She also leaves behind her devoted sister, Kathryn "Cookie" Lewkowicz. She was predeceased by a son, Dean Cantwell and brother Ernest Morassini.

A private burial service was held at Indian Hill Cemetery in Middletown, CT. Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and uncompromising nature. Patricia loved a good song, a good book, and a good bit of baking.  She will be pleased to know that her recipes and her plants will outlive her as cherished points of pride.
