Obituary

Olga (Esak) Suchoski, 97, of East Hampton, wife of the late Theodore Suchoski, peacefully passed away on Monday October 2, 2023 at Middlesex Hospital.  She was born in Nanticoke, PA, daughter of the late John and Sophie (Kopcho) Esak. Olga retired from Pressure Pak where she was employed as a Press Operator. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. Olga enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, shopping, gardening, loved spending time with her family and her cat Buffy.

Olga is survived by her son, Jeff Suchoski of East Hampton; daughter, Cindy Brochu of East Hampton, three grandchildren, Lauren and John Tomczak, Paul and Michele and Jamie Suchoski; three great- grandchildren Aubree, Arya and Gabby as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her five sisters, Margaret Bonewicz, Julia Swokla, Helen Dorsey, Ann Fortin, Mary Swokla; and two brothers, Peter and Andrew Esak.

Olga was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, always thinking of others first. "To know her was to love her." She will be terribly missed.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday October 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 47 West High St., East Hampton. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Portland. Calling hours will be held on Friday October 6th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
