Olga (Cihocki) Gorey passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1930 in Middlefield, daughter of the late Helen and John Cihocki. Olga is survived by her sister Margaret Stanger and her brother-in-law James Stanger of Middlefield. She is also survived by "the light of her life" her niece and God daughter Christine (Cahill) Halligan and her husband Gary Mason of Middlefield. Olga was cared for and lived with Christine and Gary until her passing. She leaves behind her longtime friend Maria Brown of Cromwell.

Olga was predeceased her husband John "Jack" Gorey, her son, Steve Balkun and her close friend of many years, Leon Klick. She was also predeceased by her sisters Estelle (Cihocki) Charmont and Adeline (Cihocki) Cotton and her brothers Henry Cihocki, Walter Cihocki and John Cihocki.

Olga was a resident of Cromwell for most of her life. She also worked for Middlesex Hospital as a secretary for over 30 years, a job she loved.

The family would like to thank the Middlesex Hospice team for their special care and support in her final days.
