Noreen M. O'Connell, 69, of Middletown, Connecticut died suddenly November 15th, 2023. She was born August 6th, 1954 in Guilford, Connecticut. She attended and received degrees from both Juniata College and Quinnipiac University. She had been a paralegal at the Phoenix Life Insurance company and later TransAmerica. She had a long and dedicated career that she truly was fulfilled in. She had recently begun to enjoy her much deserved retirement, which included gardening, spending time with friends, and travelling. She had a special fondness for visiting Anguilla in the Caribbean. Noreen was a phenomenal baker. Many have been treated to a special cake or pie she made specifically for them.

Noreen was predeceased by her parents, P. Edward and Bernadette O'Connell. She will be missed by her eldest brother Shawn O'Connell and his wife Carrie O'Connell and daughter Kayleigh. Her sister Bernadette O'Connell and brother Edward O'Connell will also carry her memory. Noreen also leaves behind her loving partner of 27 years Ronald Barrieau. She was also a friendly adult to Rebecca Barrieau and her partner Bill Sencio. Noreen also was loved by many cousins and friends. She greatly improved the lives of so many with her caring nature.

Funeral service will be held January 13th at Saint Francis Church in Middletown at 10:00 AM. Interment will be privately held in the Spring.
