Mary Martha Pieta, 84, of Middletown, wife of the late Casimir Pieta, passed away on Tuesday May 27, 2025. She was born in Middletown, one of eight children to the late Norman and Mary (LaBarge) Burgess.

Mary is survived by her sons Joseph Pieta, Dale Pieta and his wife Michelle, daughter Mary Lynn Castellano (Ernie), brother Art Burgess, three grandchildren Alysha Ortiz, Brittany Clement, Kayla Pieta as well as three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Casmir, siblings, Pat Manemeit, Gail Mandeville, Harry Burgess, Philip Burgess, Rosalie Burgess, and Wayne Burgess.

Funeral services and burial at Calvary Cemetery were privately held.
