Mary Hutra-Herel, 71, of Higganum, wife if the late Edward Herel, passed away at her home on April 25, 2023.  She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Julian and Katherine (York) Hutra.  Mary was a member of the Elks, Polish Falcons and the former Polish 519 National Home.

Mary is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, brother, John Hutra and sister, Theodosia Mather.

Calling hours will be held on Friday June 16th from 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. There will be a private burial.
