Mary Ann (Smith) Aresco, 92, of Middletown, beloved wife of the late Salvatore "Seb" Aresco, died Thursday December 29, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Kujawski) Smith. Mary Ann worked at Southern New England Telephone (SNET) and Wesleyan University as a switchboard operator.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Marino and her husband Jim of Austin, TX, Susan Kluglein and her husband Bob of Sun City, FL; two grandchildren, Kyle and Shaun Flynn; great grandchildren, Mia, Nathan, Logan and Megan; also, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her brother, Frank Smith; and sisters, Joyce Mosca and Helene Schwartz.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday (Jan. 6th) at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.  Burial will be at the State Veterans' Cemetery.
