Marian I.
Lazor
Apr 26, 1936 — Mar 20, 2024
Middlefield
Marian I. (Ford) Lazor, 87, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was the beloved wife of Ronald E. Lazor.
Marian was born on April 26, 1936, in Middletown, the daughter of the late James E. Ford and Grace (Bidwell) Ford-Moss. Before her retirement, Marian worked as a clerical assistant for a local HVAC company. She found great joy in her work but found even more fulfillment in the time spent with her family and tending to her garden, a place where she could find solace and beauty.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, Marian is survived by her two sons, Robert Lazor and his wife Cathy of Stafford Springs, and James Lazor of Middlefield, and her daughters, Linda DeGray and her husband William of Franklin, TN, and Cindy Milardo and her husband John of Colchester. Marian was a loving grandmother to Alex DeGray of TN, Adam, Rachael and Nathan Lazor, Leah Fienberg, Nicholas Milardo, Brett and Allison Lazor, as well as great-grandchildren Ryder Lazor and Joelle Feinberg. She was predeceased by her sister, Caroline Patton of Vergennes, Vt.
The family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to Loren Curran for the loving care provided to Marian. She has provided an amazing level of self-commitment and support to all in the home and we consider her a very welcome family member.
Special thanks goes to the Middlesex Hospice Homecare for being here so professional and with a level of humanity which could have not been better.
