Louise Robinson, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025, while surrounded by her family at the very hospital she worked for over four decades.

Louise was born in New York, NY on December 7, 1940 to Anthony and Palmyra (Sfinge) Sciutti. Her family moved to Portland, Connecticut in 1942, which became her hometown. She attended St Mary Grammar School and graduated from Portland High School in 1958 as well as the Middlesex Nursing Program in 1971. She began her nursing career at Yale New Haven Hospital before a long, established career as an operating room nurse at Middlesex Hospital. She retired after 40 years with much respect and affection.

Louise moved to East Hampton in 1968 where she raised her family and resided for the rest of her life. She was the proud mother of Erik and Kris, and grandmother of Emily and Kevin, always providing love and support along the way.  Ten years ago, Louise tragically lost her son, but she carried on with tremendous grace and strength.

Louise had friends and 'family' friends whom she loved and cherished. She enjoyed sharing much of her life with her daughter..vacationing, shopping, cooking, laughs..all that comes with not just mother/daughter but true friendship. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, meeting up with her daughter-in-law for lunch, and following baseball as she was a lifelong Yankees fan, fondly recalling seeing Mickey Mantle when she was young.  Finally, Louise loved dogs and owned many over her lifetime, as this was a tremendous source of joy and happiness for her.

Louise is pre deceased by both parents as well as her son, Erik. She leaves behind her daughter, Kris, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and grandchildren Emily and Kevin.

As per Louise's request, no services will be held, but the family hopes her spirit will be remembered with fondness and love.
