Linda Masselli Hanson, 79, of Middletown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 10, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Middletown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lois (Pendleton) Masselli. Linda is survived by her sons, Craig J. Hanson, currently residing in Tulsa, OK and Scott T. Hanson and his wife Caitlin Lacey currently residing in Middletown.  Linda also leaves her brother, Joseph Masselli, Jr., her sister, Kate Porch, her nephew Alex Porch and his wife Staci, her niece Cassie Steinhilber and her husband Rob, her grandnieces Katrina, Talia, Tessa and Cooper Porch, and her grandnephews Rocco and Maxwell Steinhilber.

Linda was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Ronald L. Hanson. Both Linda and Ron were devout Christians whose faith played a predominant role in their life together.  To this end, they served in various capacities at their church and were always willing to share their faith. They were also avid cat lovers and claimed to have had 19 cats over their life together.

Linda spent 32 years of her professional life working at Middlesex OB-GYN, a job she loved and where she made many life-long friendships. Upon retiring she volunteered at Middlesex convalescent home, where Ron resided due to his multiple sclerosis, until Covid closed everything down.

A joint celebration of life for Linda and Ronald will be held on Monday July 22nd at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. Burial will follow at the State Veterans' Cemetery.
