Leslie Wilcox, Jr. 89, formerly of Higganum, husband of the late Jane (Saunders) Wilcox, died Sunday November 2, 2025. Born on May 21, 1936 in Trescott, ME, son of the late Leslie and Annie (Tinker) Wilcox, Sr. Leslie was a veteran serving with the US Marines Corps. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Lead Forensic Treatment Specialist at Whiting Forensic Institute.

Leslie is survived by his son David Wilcox of Higganum, daughters, Ann Shinn of Queen Creek, AZ, Pamela Wilcox-Dapkus of Portland, CT and Mary Marino of Portland, CT; six grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jane, brothers, Carlton, Clarence, Lewis, Richard, Harold and Clifton Wilcox; sisters, Helen Moores, Mabel Smith, Mary Moores, Amy Dennison; and stepsister Marjorie Lavin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday November 8th from 12 to 2 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
