Lawrence D. Luppert, 75, of Middletown, died Tuesday August 19, 2025 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Norwich, the son of the late Valentine L. Luppert, Jr. and Bessie "Betty" (Irish) Luppert.

Larry, as he was affectionately known to all family and friends, he had a passion for cars which led him to his lifelong career as a Master Mechanic He was employed by Pratt and Whitney, Logano Trucking, and then ended his career at R.E.D. Technologies. After retiring he spent his time rebuilding a 1970 Chevy Nova, which was his dream car. He was looking forward to finishing the car by the end of this year so that he and the love of his life Millie could enjoy taking afternoon strolls.

He is survived by his partner, Milagros Santiago of Middletown; son, Lawrence Luppert of Norwich; daughter, Yvonne Saldana of Middletown; brothers, Robert (Sandra) Luppert of North Franklin, CT, and William (Cathy) Luppert of Derry, NH; sisters, Valerie (Thomas) Tucker of Hampton, CT, and Carol (Keith) Rinbolt of Uncasville, CT; and two granddaughters, LeAna and Lexus Thomas, both of New Britain, CT, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry was blessed with a circle of friends who shared the same passion in cars as he did, including Gary Colby, Jeffrey Hasbrouck, Wayne Duffy, and Tommy Logano who brought joy, laughter, and unwavering support throughout his life. Your kindness and cherished memories will forever remain a part of Larry's story and our family is deeply grateful for the love you shared.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 29th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown CT. Burial will in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Rockfall.
