Laurie Bostwick, 68, of Middletown passed away Sunday January 1 ^st , 2023 at Middlesex Hospital.

She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Leon E. Bostwick and Pauline (Gogan) Guarino. Her family relocated to Rockville, Ashford, and then eventually Middletown where Laurie attended Middletown High School. She was employed by Pratt & Whitney early on in life. She spent many years at home raising her children and later opened a home daycare. She then took on various secretarial positions and worked at a before and after school daycare before retirement. Laurie always had a kind, calm, and patient presence. Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, baking, crafting, and spending time with her family. Laurie's children meant everything to her. Later in life she developed a love for completing puzzles and word searches, watching Jimmy Fallon, and spending time with her Luther Ridge friends.

She is survived by her son Joseph Fagan, son Jeffrey Fagan, daughter Kelly Smedley and her husband Matthew, and her cherished granddaughter Brooklyn Laurie. She is also survived by her beloved sister Virginia Guardiani. She leaves behind her extended Guardiani, London, and Fagan family.

Laurie was predeceased by her brother Earl London and his wife Louise, and her brother-in-law Lawrence Guardiani.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (January 10 ^th ) at 10 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
