Kenneth James Winschel, 90, of Deep River, husband of the late Eileen (Barry) Winschel, died Friday December 16, 2022.

He was born in Deep River, the son of the late William F. and Regina (Reese) Winschel.  A veteran of the Korean War, Kenneth served with the US Marines Corp.  Prior to his retirement, he was a printer with UARCO in Deep River, a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed square dancing with his wife. He had a quick wit, joyful character, and could fix anything with his jerry-rigging skills.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Patricia Pataky of Apex, NC, Elizabeth Winschel of Holyoke, MA, Nancy Winschel of Deep River, Kristine Woods and her husband, Matthew, of Burlington, CT; grandchildren, Christopher Pataky and his wife, Kelly, Meghan Corder and her husband, Preston, Molly Woods, Hope Woods, Julia Babbitt, great-grandchildren, Abigail Pataky, Maxwell Pataky, Lindsey Corder, and Annie Corder; sister, Alice Johnson of Deep River; He was predeceased by his son William Winschel, son-in-law Mark Pataky, and brother, Arthur C. Winschel.
