Kasey Carpentier, 43, of East Haddam, died Monday January 12, 2026, at Hartford Hospital. She was born in New Haven, daughter of David and Nancy (McGlynn) Carpentier.

Her favorite hobbies included cooking, gardening, music, and caring for children. She hated camping but loved going to the beach. She was an outstanding athlete, excelling in softball and field hockey. She always said her greatest accomplishment was her son.

Kasey is survived by her parents, David and Nancy, son, Jackson Hill of East Haddam, and sister, Ryann of Ivoryton. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday January 18th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. Burial will be privately held at St. Bridget Cemetery.
