Sullivan, Karen A., age 75, of Vernon, CT, formerly of Wallingford and New Haven, respectively, died July 16, 2022.

Beloved wife of Daniel P. Sullivan, Jr. for 52 years, she is survived by her children: son Daniel and his wife Elaine; daughter Kathryn and her husband, Jeffrey; and daughter Kristen and her husband, Frank; as well as eight grandchildren.

Karen was a dedicated nurse for over 30 years, including working at St. Raphael's hospital; Brook Hollow Health Care Center, and then Acord, Inc.

She enjoyed vacationing with family, including trips to Florida and California. She loved playing board games, watching TV talk shows, and reading.

Karen was the youngest child of William and Genevieve Hyland and the loving sister of Richard G. Hyland. She was predeceased by brothers, James and William.

Karen loved decorating for holidays and spending time with her family. Holidays will not be the same without her.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 21 ^st at 2 p.m.at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  www.alz.org.
